First, I was tired of keeping family secrets inside, so I decided I had to go public with what was really going on in my family.
Second, finally working with a really excellent therapist, I started improving right away and continued to improve. I wanted to share with others how this can be possible for them, too.
Third, I have some philosophy to share with whoever is willing to listen.
And finally, as I was writing the book it occurred to me that I have been through so many horrible experiences that there’s got to be something in it that others out there can relate to. If anyone who reads it and has experienced or is experiencing something similar and has felt alone it, I hope you don’t feel so alone now. Even more than that, if you haven’t told anyone about it maybe you can find a good therapist to talk to now.
